Victorian Style
How do I decorate, arrange a Victorian style studio apartment?
I'm thinking of using burgundy/reddish curtains, I have cherry walnut furniture and am going to get a Chinese rug (that's red and gold).
I also have a mahogany and tan room divider. Is there anything Im missing or could add?
What color rug would look good?
Any tips? The walls are old, and beige. Im not allowed to paint them, but at least they're not white. There's a rug already in place but will a another rug on it make me trip?. Is is ok I make the bathroom aqua blue but the rest of the place cherry walnut and red?
Any suggestions?
Pink seems like my color Jamie, you snide little ho?
Why don't you go shove you head up a dead bear's anal cavity?
I think pink...pink seems like your color!
what do you think??? But yea....good luck with that... hehe

How could incorporate Victorian style into my everyday wear?
I love Victorian dresses and such, but I can't just walk down the street wearing them. Do you have any ideas on how I could incorporate that basic look while still not looking insane?
Thanks!!! ^_^
Ah me too. I always love how beautiful and extravagant they look haha. I always love Victorian goth as well (if it's well done anyways!). It's all quite beautiful.
Well anyways..you can try incorporate the "look" by wearing a nice cream/white/ivory ruffle dress shirt and and a tight black pencil skirt. If you don't like the skirt idea, you could try black skinny jeans or black slacks. As for accessories, try pearl necklaces, brooches, head band, large vintage rings and ect.
Or you could wear those shirt dresses (I don't know what they're called...) Something similar to this:

For hair:
nice soft curls...could be thick too
or an up do as well!
something like this..but no so exaggerated.

If you don't like that idea, you could always try vintage shopping. =] Use whatever item of clothing you find and wear something modern with it.
I think the "Romantic look" is somewhat inspired by the Victorian style.

"Victorian inspired boots"

Umm I think they're ok looking..a little over the top though. I think really nice pumps or boots will work for the look.
umm that's all I can think of for now.
Well the stuff I got out are somewhat tamed..so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for haha
