How can I keep my dog from chewing on the Christmas ornaments?

You know, the really low-hanging ones. She will grab them off the branches and if I don't immediately find her with one then she will have turned it into a chew tow. What can I do?

if its possible make a little mixture of lots of pepper and salsa juice and put it on the ornaments for now once she tastes that stuff it'll teach her that its not very good tasting and she'll most likely not want to do it again. once she stops the chewing then take of the mixture and you'll be good to go

My dog ate a part of a wreath ornament. It had sterofom balls (about 1/4 of an inch thick) and painted gold...

We went to the vet already and they gave her pills to soften her stool...she's a small dog...if this happened to anybody else, tell me and tell me whether your dog's ok...:(

well Since the balls were quite tiny, they should process right through her. watch your dog and try to see if the balls pass, even though it is a little yuk to look .If they don't process then you need to make another trip to the vet.
