Flag Blown
Physics: Why does a flag flap in the wind instead of remaining erect when the wind blows?
Because the wind is not at a constant speed from a constant direction, but varies both almost constantly.

Is the flag that American planted on the moon still there?
Neil Armstrong and his boys planted a flag on the moon on their last trip there right? Is that flag still there? Or did it get blown away by the wind or something? Do our austronauts still see it? I couldn't find it on Google Earth's map of the moon
Ronald E, Evans and Harrison H. Schmidt left a flag at the Apollo 17 landing site, the last manned mission to the moon. The flag is still there, although it may have deteriorated from UV exposure for almost 37 years.
The Apollo 11 flag fell over because exhaust from the command capsule blew it over when the command capsule took off. Aldrin saw it fall over. The flag is still there, along with the five other flags that were planted farther away from the lunar module at the other sites.
